why are all the sorority houses (except zeta) so old?

Why haven’t any of the houses (except zeta) been rebuilt? Even UNT has nicer houses. Also why is it only zeta has a new house?

Only Zeta has been rebuilt but many have added on (Kappa, Theta, DG) and remodeled / redecorated. It’s not like the houses are falling down & they were all built when chapter sizes were pretty large so not sure why you think they need rebuilding?? I think only Kappa has rebuilt at UT and the SMU houses are getting rebuilt because they were all literally 100 years old and not able to accommodate modern sorority life / chapter size.

Also, do you know what happens when houses get rebuilt? Your dues skyrocket. All of the houses at Bama are getting rebuilt and their DUES are something like $6k per year mostly because of the house expense.
