aopi vs adpi

The only difference I know is one has been at A&M for 35+ years (maybe a few longer, maybe a few less) and the other is new. ADPiis one of the first Aggie sororities. I think it’s why their house is so small. A&mwas a lot less populated even a decade prior.

AOPi does not have a house, ADPi does. AOPi is very new and their dues are the highest on the row ($3000+), ADPi is older and less expensive. AOPi doesn't have a super huge campus presence or big philanthropy event yet (but working on it). ADPI has stronger sisterhood because of house, being established and more roots. AOPi is not as established and sisterhood is weaker, but by being a new member you'd be able to work to make it the sorority you want it to be. Both very similar in terms of social presence and rep on campus

On a superficial level adpi is known to have “bigger girls” while aopi isn’t established enough to have a reputation yet. Both have great sisterhood and are great sororities, it just really depends on the girl in which they seem to fit with. I know when I went through rush adpi made me uncomfortable by talking about boys and other girls but maybe that was just the girl I talked to. Overall I would say the real difference is adpi is an established and probably not moving bottom while aopi is a wild card bottom as no one knows how they will recruit when they have a house!
