is it ok to wear romper to semi formal?

I bought a black romper awhile back and haven’t worn it and it looks really fancy. It’s not made of cotton and cost me about $50. It also doesn’t look casual at all. I just don’t like wearing dresses so is wearing a romper okay if it looks fancy at least?

Please be a troll and not a real person who uses the words “real fancy” to describe a romper and that you think 50.00 is a lot of money. No wonder our sorority girls are the laughingstock of the SEC because of how we dress.

Please don’t. This is why my friends in sororities at other SEC schools say everyone makes fun of how we dress and that we don’t belong in the SEC. They say our idea of a formal is to wear a clean T-shirt and washed jeans. And yes one is an Ole Miss sorority girl.

im sorry but have to agree. i came here due to family tradition but im embarrassed as to how we dress on this campus. we do think jeans and a t are dressing for the game. even the moms still wear same T-shirt’s and jeans. it’s not just sec schools but we look sloppy compared to texas tcu baylor. cmon sisters up your game a little!
