More than some campuses, but way less than the other SEC schools.

Connections and wealth matter for only 3-4 sororities. Everyone else is just depends on your personality and how well you fit. It's totally possible to be an unknown and do well (just make sure you get in your rec letters) and practice your conversations and trial-run your hair and makeup.
