second time rushing?
by: Sophomore PNMHi! Planning on rushing as a sophomore this fall when I rushed as a freshman last fall. Had to drop because of personal reasons, and I was wondering how I should approach that this time during recruitment? Will the houses know I have rushed before? Open to all comments, thanks.

I can’t remember if that’s info that’s shared. However, girls that talked to you last year might recognize you so it’ll be better to be honest and forthcoming so it doesn’t hurt you.
Often, people drop bc they don’t like the houses they’re left with so houses won’t give them the same chance as the first time.
They’ll ask why you decided to go through Recruitment so that’ll be the time to bring it up. Their biggest fear is you’re a drop risk so they won’t want to try to get a spot for someone that’ll drop. Just ensure they know you’re committed.

Thank you! So when they ask about going through recruitment I should tell them this is actually my second time around but then stress how I'm committed this time and am not dealing with the personal reasons that led me to drop last year? Also, I didn't drop during recruitment, I dropped after bid day. Will that hurt me? Obviously not expecting a bid from the same house, I'm not that oblivious lol.
