rushing 2018 fraternities - worth it ?

by: Aggie ‘21

So i thought about rushing, it looks like a lot of fun - but trying to decide between a fraternity or a men’s org ... I’ve already learned a lot about men’s orgs throughout the year, but I know only a couple of guys in a few different frats - can anyone give about what the frats on campus are currently like as of now ?
Like grades, parties/social life, what they do on campus, how expensive they are, pledgeship, and quality of guys or what most of the guys are like (preppy or fratstars or country or weird or super rich or a mix) ? Just any kind of general stuff

Was looking through past posts but seems to be too much trolling so can’t really tell

Thanks

Go through the rush process and you will find out which each chapter is like. Please don't listen to the tryhards on this site. As for the social life the frats (except maybe a few) will almost always out compete the men's orgs in every way. Don't know about grades but most still do better than the average for men at Texas A&M.

Yes it’s worth it. Worse case scenario you drop during pledgeship and try a men’s org instead

Try a frat! Then if you don’t like it or if it’s not for you, def try a men’s org
