spring rush

Im tranferring as a sophomore in the spring & was just curious if any sororities do spring rush? Is it also worth rushing in the fall as a junior? I had to change my major so ill probably be staying another year if that helps at all. Im not really familiar at all with the Greek Scene at A&M since I planning to go to Tech, but since I got into A&M is it even worth rushing? Like a make or break my experience

Houses like DG, and AXO take juniors so it might be worth it to rush as a junior. you still have time to decide

Houses that didn't make quota his fall will most likely have some sort of spring rush. However, I believe AOPI was the only chapter that didn't make quota so you have better chances rushing as a junior. If you're not concerned about getting a "top tier" house and you have an open mind, you won't be disappointed going through as a junior. If you are only concerned about getting a top or middle tier house, you could be disappointed as it is harder for juniors since houses don't have to take a junior quota. Hope this helped!

I went through formal recruitment at the beginning of the semester as a junior and was cut from several houses b/c of it. Being a junior definitely does not help you if you don't have friends in the house to help you get a bid.
