So I'm considering doing COB, but I'm really only interested in XO. What are my chances of getting a bid from them??

XO would have to be less than a 'full house'. That might occur at mid-term. If actives graduate or study abroad, etc.

But you wouldn't be part of a pledge class as the new pledges will have been initiated by then. And you'd miss out. IMHO.

Unless XO has a mass exodus of members this semester, they won't be eligible for COB.

And if they were, unless your tribe of besties all pledged XO and are dying for you to join them.....you won't be on their list.

This is true for pretty much every top 5-6 chapter. They're typically over chapter total and when they fall under by 1-2 girls, the bids are directly extended to bff's. Not randoms.
