how did everyone do?

I can see that. Everyone says that they are "top" but a lot of girls in my dorm who had them for pref liked houses like Pi Phi and Kappa better. Doubt we'll know for sure if they snapped though.

DDD has slipped badly. So many chapters were more popular this year.

You now see exactly what has been posted by wise individuals that are not trolls or pot stirrers. There really is nothing to the whole popular/top tier thing here. Every house is good!! I think quota was 95. Some houses may take more if they have the space, mainly due to seniors who graduated. So probably DG took 98 bc they had three spaces from graduating Seniors.

Graduating seniors or chapter size have NOTHING to do with the number of new members during formal rush. If a chapter is over Quota, it's because of Quota Additions.
QA's are new members who marched after Quota had been reach because they maximized their options (either someone who only had 1 invitation to Pref and was therefore guaranteed a bid to that house OR someone who did not get a bid to either house during bid matching but because she maximized her options was added to one of the 2 houses as a QA).

See my above comment. I believe quota was 95. But some take more to account for recent graduates.

You're not necessarily a QA just because you got your second choice. You were somewhere on your first house Pref list, but they reached quota before they got to you. At your second house, you could have been at the very top! Really you could overthink it to death or just go with it and make the best of it.

That doesn't mean mean your house didn't want you. They invited you to pref and gave you a bid!

1. Both houses wanted you - they invited you to Pref! Chapters know that anyone invited to pref could become a new member and so that invitation list is carefully scrutinized.
2. It's more common for QA's to match to their 1st choice so it's highly unlikely you were a QA. Either way- it's not a big deal because the chapter has NO idea which new members were QA's. They aren't separated into another list or something like that.

Except DDD DID have to snap if they wanted to make quota because they only matched 77 and not 79. When you don't match, you gotta snap.
