1. Snap bids are EXTREMELY rare. All but one chapter have consistently made quota every year. They honestly aren't worth any PNM's time thinking about.
2. If you suicide, you are not eligible for a snap bid. You would be eligible for COB if any chapters are participating this fall.

so, how many houses does a pnm select after skit day... is it 2(or 3) out of 6?...
and after a pnm selects top 2 out of 6, is it possible for pnm to show up on pref day and receive invites to houses she did not choose as her top 2?

What? No! How did you come to that conclusion from my explanation of how Quota is calculated??
No pnms are guaranteed their top choice. The only thing guaranteed during rush is that if you are invited to Pref AND you list every chapter whose pref you attended on your pref card (no "suiciding"), then you're guaranteed a bid to one of those houses.
