sorority meetings

I plan on rushing in the fall, but i have a late afternoon / evening lab. Would this interfere with sorority meetings? What days are most of the meetings?

All of the chapters have Monday evening meetings. Class would be an excused absence all semester. Just have to get chapter info from emails, Facebook groups, and friends.

Chapter is Monday night and starts between 6-7pm depending on the house. Your new member meetings will probably be on Tuesday or Wednesday night at the same time.

ETA: Yes, class is an excused absence, just know that you're going to have to work extra hard to socialize with your pledge class if you have labs during chapter or new member meeting times. Or else you run the risk of feeling like you haven't made any connections / friends and will maybe feel so left out that you want to drop.

That's a little dramatic. You aren't even allowed to go to chapter until you're initiated. Which can be a while? So you're really only missing a couple chapter meetings during your first sememester. I did it and it literally had no effect on me at all.

@No- I was really thinking more about if her labs cause her to miss the New Member meetings. Sorry I wasn't clear.
