If you want to be with a group of girls who only care about you because of where you're from, that's both incredibly shallow and just plain sad. A "zip coding" house is not where you want to be if genuine and lifelong friendships are what you are looking for. Be better than this. Strive for a relationship that's both real and sincere.

yeah but how common is it that 10 girls from the same high school go to one sorority? Do girls from that high school go to any other sorority? I'm curious about this as well.

the reason no one's not naming names is because zip coding really isn't as bad as people on this site make it seem, and isn't nearly as bad as UT or SMU. Memorial, Highland Park, and private school girls are spread out everywhere from Kappa to XO and Pi Phi, and even the suburb girls like Katy, The Woodlands, Southlake, Plano, Westlake etc. are spread out all around, including Zeta, DG, KD, etc. Your accomplishments (and looks) matter more to sororities here than just straight money. If you're hot and upper middle class with decent grades though, then you have your pick of any sorority here.

High school shouldn't matter during sorority rush. If you find a house that doesn't want you because of your place of residence (which you normally can't control), they don't deserve you.
