Why TF did we take a sorority like AEPhi? We could've taken such a bigger, more nationally recognized sorority. I didn't even know we were taking bids.

So are they allowed to participate in formal Panhellenic recruitment if they want? Is it completely up to them if they want to do that?

According to their HQ Facebook they will be Chartered Fall 2017. Congrats for all their work to reach this distinction.

I can't imagine they would recruit with Panhellenic Formal. The membership is not large enough. I would imagine they will continue to do their own recruitment.

I believe their form of recruitment to be solid and acceptable. There are other NPC groups who also recruit in this manner; its use depends on the size of a campus and the likelihood of equal new member size classes. The NPC has agreed to this 'different' form of recruitment and so must the panhellenics and/or campuses where it occurs.
