SigEp isn't gone they're just on suspension. They still have their house and charter and everything they just can't be active until 2019 (3 semesters). It's happened to pretty much every major fraternity here. They'll drop to mid tier with guys like Delt and Pike for a while and in 3-5 years they'll be right back on top again, as long they keep alumni/national support. This isn't the first time Greek life has seen this situation

if SigEp is gone until spring 2019, doesn't that mean the current juniors would pretty much all be gone (unless 5th year seniors) and all the sophomores graduate in that spring of 2019? and their fall16 class was pretty small and had a good amount of sophomores if i remember correctly , and they couldnt take a spring17 class. if im right then my point is that there'll hardly be any of them left after the suspension is gone , it'd be hard to come back with such small numbers. it's a shame

So what if they dont keep "national support"? Wouldn't they lose that support if they get in trouble for hazing, since they're not even technically supposed to have "pledges" due to their stupid weird 'balanced man program' thing that SigEp has to do? It seems like a very weird/bad situation for these guys
