That's spot on. So many want to try to say the ranks have changed, but this is it. Wait until after rush this year and all of this ZTA/ DG is top tier talk will be over. They get pretty girls but not ones with connections or they'd be in DDD, KKG, PBP or XO.

Just wait until after recruitment and this ranking will be who gets the best pledge classes. ZTA and DG have pretty girls but aren't at the top of anyone's list unless you're a legacy or you don't have those other houses for pref.

DZ is hands down better than Theta and half of the sororities at A&M, they weren't always good but they've gotten a lot better in the last 5 years or so

DZ is only above KD, gamma phi, ADPi, and to some people Theta. Lets be realistic, they are lower mid tier to upper bottom tier.

At the national level, DZ is weaker than any group here, but DZ is better than Theta at A&M

I know Kappa and TriDelt at A&M do not zipcode cut, nor do they only target certain high schools. They want the best girls going through recruitment and well-rounded girls with good grades, achievements, respected, fun-outgoing personalities, and appearance. There are many high schools in Texas where a lot of girls go through recruitment every year, and if you have friends in the chapter and are an outstanding girl - you will get recruited. And the cycle continues on each year. Same with camps - lots of camp girls go through recruitment, and if have friends in the chapter who know you from camp and you are an outstanding girl - you will get recruited. And the cycle continues on each year.

Do any A&M chapters do this? I have several friends in Pi Phi and they said they don't do that but who would actually tell a PNM if they did. I just thought that was a UT thing.

Aggies are not shallow enough to zipcode cut--we look more at scholarship and achievement and if you know girls in the chapter, that helps too

Who puts DG and Theta in the bottom tier?? DG is rising and Theta isn't doing great but has a name in Texas.
