Ranking post philanthropy
by: PnmHi guys I’m a little confused so for the rating post philanthropy just from the 2 girls we talked to or does go Greek scoring play a role too?? And does the whole chapter vote?? Can someone explain how this works ?

Someone posted about this before, but the fact is, every chapter does it differently. It’s usually a variety of factors contributing to the ranking, but at least in my chapter the people who just talk to plus anyone who already knew you before recruitment started carry a lot weight.

Pnm's are evaluated for the current round only. That doesn't mean that an impression made in an early round won't still influence the way a member votes in the current round though.
Each chapter does membership selection according to their nationals, but they are all similar. The girls you talk to have influence as well as the ones who knew you before recruitment. Members are all pulling for the pnm's they like. Each member gets a say but in the end it's a chapter decision.
A ranked list is generated and submitted to panhellenic for the next round. Each chapter has a cutoff that is assigned by panhellenic for the number of pnm's they can have back. Pnm's above the cutoff are invited back and the ones below are released. The chapter membership does not see the ranked list that is submitted, only the recruitment chair/committee/advisor sees it.
We don't know if you don't come back because you dropped us or because you didn't make our cutoff. We get VERY upset when our favorites don't come back! It's a numbers game and no one should take it personally. Just move forward with a smile on your face.

I hope you get them. At Sisterhood it is important to tell your favorite(s) how you feel. They can't read your mind and you want to get voted high enough to make it to their pref!

I fear I let them know I liked them during the last round yesterday bc I said something about how the sisterhood felt real and when I was there I truly wanted to be there while some girls (not hating) were more using it as a filler bc their top priority was to focus on the top houses they got back

It's always ok to let a house know you like them and have really enjoyed the convos--at any round! It just gets more important in the later rounds.

Ugh I have the same anxiety there’s this house that I love I’ve had 3/3 amazing convos during go Greek and a great one in philo my second one was good it just took her longer to warm up to me but she did eventually and all of them were meaningful. This isn’t one of the t3 houses but idc bc I love it. I’m just worried bc I don’t have a rush crush left if that’s gonna get me dropped and I’m a sophomore
