The "match system" has nothing to do with it. It is up to the individual chapters' priorities in choosing PNM's and how lenient or rigid they are on GPA. GPA cuts are first round. If a chapter adheres to a hard and fast GPA requirement for pnm's, then that's that and getting to their second round won't happen. But any chapter can make an exception to their GPA cutoff for a special PNM. You would have to be a PNM they really really love, just knowing members is not enough - almost every pnm knows sorority members at this point.

What’s your gpa? You could get cut but it is only one factor.

I got cut freshman year when I didn’t have the best grades so I rushed again sophomore year when my grades were better and found a great house!!

Honestly i had terrible grades my first semester and went all the way to pref with a house whos required gpa was higher than what i had. If they really see u there they wont care.
