PNMs: if you are not at the top of your class, from a prominent OK or TX fam, or on OU pom or cheer, don't waste your time with the top 3 houses listed here. They will string you along during early recruitment only to cut you after you've cut houses that may have really liked you and could have been a good fit for you. You're better off cutting them first and focusing on the other houses to find your real spot. Trust me, I know what we do!

You either have another in or you were a quota addition that they didn't really want.

She could have had great grades and leadership activities that all houses are looking for.

My estimate from looking at recruitment applications is that 50 - 75% have great grades and leadership. That's not enough in my house.

Before the article everyone is sick of hearing about, Aphi was on the rise and people didn't like it. It was all over this site. The article just gave an excuse to bring them down. One person's opinion who hurt a lot of people..not just Aphis. It could have been any sorority, but unfortunately for them, it was Aphi. I hope people arent still bringing this up like the Texas Monthly article 40 years ago that ranked a Big Six at UT. They still won't let that go either and it is just silly.

Is it true that Chi Omega doesn't initiate their new members until the spring semester? And if so why?
