I'm reversing the post below to show you the real truth about GPB instead of what others are trying to say.
GPB DOES get the girls with the best grades. They have the highest grade cutoff when going through recruitment among the greek system. So they automatically cut all the girls in APhi and Chi-O. Gamma Phi has placed top 3 in grades for the past 4 years and placed top 5 this year overall.
GPB DOES have multiple cheer and pom girls who are still in the house now.
GPB wins as much as the other top 5 houses. They have the biggest philanthropy on campus, won 2 president's trophy awards this year, and is consistently placing in everything year to year.
GPB is always asked by good houses! They just did Using with Sig Ep last year and are doing scandals with Lambda Chi next year. Plus they got asked to do Homecoming next year with BYX and BYX has won homecoming the past several years. They aren't asked last by anyone! Boys want to work with this house because they're good at what they do. Every house often gets asked (not first) by a fraternity. Gphi was asked by 2 houses this year before Lambda asked them to scandals and they turned them down. So what house ended up with them? It doesn't matter because Gphi is classy enough not to call them out for it.
Overall, this house is a top 5 house. Consistency is what keeps this house in the top. The women are classy, involved, and smart. You take these women home to your mom.

Top houses don't usually post this kind of comment because everyone already knows how good they are. And of course everyone at OU knows what a great house GPhi is. But I think it's time something like this was posted because it's the truth and that's the most effective way to fight lies. This needs to be bumped every time the Chi Os get on here with another comment about how good they are compared to all the other OU houses.

I agree. I've been very involved for 3 years now and am preparing for the 3rd recruitment on the sorority side. I am not a Gamma Phi but I'm aware that some of the girls we really wanted chose that house. They are competition especially for my house, Tri Delta, and Pi Phi. To be honest, I only know of one girl that we even had on our list that went Chi O and that was because she was a legacy.
