This is NOT true lol

This is far from the truest. People JUST STOP!!! The rankings at OU are ever changing. The houses that some consider TOP are not TOP to another. It's like HS..some people don't want to be associated with the rich, snobby girls and don't consider them well liked even though it appears they have it all together. Some people are totally content hanging with genuine and all around nice girls but some may not consider them "popular". Popular and well liked are different in everyone's eyes. I can tell you that I am in what is considered a middle tier house and I LOVE it! I love my friends, I love the house and I love my friends in all the other houses. But I can say that my friends who are in what is considered a top tier house HATE it! They feel like they are trying so hard to fit in. So at the end of the day pick where you fit and figure out what you want out of your college experience. I didn't want to keep doing the HS thing...climbing and being fake. It is so nice to be myself and be liked for who I am, not who I am pretending to be. So High School girls....figure this out before you come to OU because the houses here are all different and some fit the HS mold perfectly and if that's what makes you happy then that's where you will be happiest. If being yourself and genuine is what makes you happy then you will find that here as well.

There are 2 houses that are considered top houses and then the rest fall below. There is no longer a top 5 at OU. What boys consider top is not what girls consider top. I can tell you that the traditional top 5 at OU is non existent and 2 have dropped out completely and are at the lower end of the middle tier and then 1 is hanging on by a thread. So go in with an open mind b/c there are about 8-9 houses that are all REALLY GOOD! And girls are happy in those houses if they pick them for the right reasons. Good Luck!
