why do rankings exist

Greek life is a hard game at OU, but why? Many times our opinions are based on ranks, but truly at OU there isn't a BAD sorority.
Rankings are honestly just biased decisions because you could ask any girl, or any guy and many would have various answers.
What happened to quality of girls, on-campus involvement, grades, authenticate women, participation in club offices, etc?
Every sorority has special characteristics about them that make them the way they are.
Let's show some love for all of our chapters on OU's campus for a change.

I totally agree! There isn't a bad house at OU. They're all great. I have several friends in the "bottom" houses and they are all super sweet, smart, and involved girls. Honestly during rush I enjoyed those houses a lot because the girls seemed so much more genuine! Sure, everyone has different rankings and opinions, but people need to keep in mind that there are all kinds of girls in each house--keep the stereotypes to a minimum, please! OU has a great Greek system.

I agree! There isn't a bad house at OU. Quite honestly if you are on here defending your house or trying to prove your a "top" house then maybe you need to reevaluate your own self. It's very high school mean girl to be on this site trying to prove whether you are popular or not. The lower tier houses have just as much to offer as the upper tier. And sometimes even more. The upper tier houses are great...but also there is a lot of snotty, rude, backstabbing just like HS popularity. Every house has something great to offer...why don't we try to be supportive rather than tear others down.

I think all the frats at OU are great! I think all the frats have good things and bad things about them. I think you can choose whether you want a big pledge class or choose a smaller pledge class. A lot of boys are legacies of a particular house and all the houses have all kinds of different guys.
