When going to the houses will actives notice if you have nice things? If you have on items that show you have money will they like you over girls who don't have on name brand things?

If you are wearing something that grabs our attention or something we like then yes we will remember. It doesn't have to be expensive for us to notice, but the expensive items are the things we like. Or at least most of us.
