pledge class

As freshmen you will live in the dorms for six weeks before rush starts. You will bond with the girls on your floor. Once bid day gets here, you have already established better relationships with your floor mates than you will experience with your pledge class! You will have friends in many sororities!

Like she said ^^ You will make some of your best friends the first 6 weeks of school before rush. The girls on your floor will be the girls you walk to class with, eat in the union with, go to bars with, and survive the week of rush with. You will obviously make tons of friends in your sorority and likely there will be girls from your floor in your sorority.

You will make a lot of friends before rush happens, and I think that's the best part about having a later rush. You have plenty of time to get to know classmates and even future sisters. Even if your friends are not in the same sorority as you, you will still be friends! Just because you're an ABC doesn't mean you can't hang out with a girl in XYZ.

I pledged one sorority and good friends from high school pledged other sororities. We all see each other often and have met each other's sorority sisters. It's been great!
