Honestly, if you can get into any of the first 8 houses, that is an accomplishment. It is harder to get in every year and all of these houses have amazing, intelligent, beautiful girls. The main difference between the top and middle houses? Connections. houses like kappa, phi mu, aopi, and pi phi don't have as much history or power at ole miss. They suffer in rankings because of it, but I don't know anyone who is sad to get a bid from either.

On the other hand, I have seen girls cry when they only get asked back to adpi and/or theta. Right there in the Grove, I swear. They are viewed as much lower than the other houses. That being said, Ole Miss is growing. With alpha phi coming this fall, recruitment will become much more difficult and the two bottom houses will have a chance to get some good pledge classes. I'm interested to see where these two go.
