No chapter has to offer spring bids at all and large houses typically do not. There is no formal rush in the spring therefore no quotas for pledge numbers other than not going over total chapter membership limit. Larger houses would only have a few openings based on how many have graduated or dropped, smaller houses still seeking to get their numbers up would have more openings. Some chapters may quietly offer bids to a select few girls they already know they want without hosting any rush functions. Other chapters may host spring rush functions that are either open to whomever is interested or by invitation only to girls that the sorority knows are interested. Your best bet is to reach out to actives you know and tell them if you are interested.
