I'm an old guy who ought to have better things to do than read this board.
I think Deke was the top fraternity in the 1950s. They went down in the sixties and were pretty awful by the seventies. They got suspended and kicked off multiple times, and I think the last time they were told they wouldn't be back.
An interesting note is that the Dekes were the only Greek organization to actually own their lot; everyone else leases from the university. I think the university must have purchased it, though, because it doesn't show up on land glide.
