This year? Impossible for non-legacys and out of state girls.

Jackson and Memphis girls can rest easy.

I keep seeing girls posting with a Chi O and they are from OOS. 2 girls who are roommates mother's were Chi O's at other schools does that help ?

There is some sarcasm in Lol's response. It is true that some of the sororities are harder to get into for oos or non legacies but not impossible.

Maybe, but not always. There are certainly no guarantees. Especially non-chapter legacies.

But chi o is one of the chapters that does place a lot of weight on legacies. Especially if their moms are still involved in which ever chapter they belong to.

With variable quota, top three houses will take around 100 pledges. If you are not a chapter legacy or have not already been invited to pre parties you really don't stand a chance. Look hard at other houses and try to get to know girls in DG, Phi MU, Theta, Kappa, Pi Phi etc...

If you aren't friends with any actives or if they haven't reached out to you, do not expect to make it past Greek day. Non-chapter legacies are only safe for philanthropy. Variable quota will leave a lot of girls devastated as we can only take SIGNIFICANTLY less than 130 pledges this year. Don't get your hopes up if no actives have reached out to you and introduced you to other actives! Please don't get your hopes up a lot of people hate chi o because we are very selective and girls who are cut (many) had gotten their hopes up.
