Panhel requires a 2.8 to come back in January. So if chapters are taking 2.7 GPAs, they are doing with through COBs right after recruitment. Please stop getting girls' hopes up. Less than 5 waivers were granted last year and they were not for minor illnesses.

Only if a chapter has spots to fill in their pledge class. COB is done hush hush and usually within 24-48 hours of bid day. Last year a handful of chapters did COB. Do not pin your hopes on COB, there were two or three chapters that gave out 1-3 bids during COB to replace girls who had to drop for various reasons. Those sports are usually filled by friends of girls currently in the chapter or girls who went through formal recruitment and dropped out early in the process.
