It's honestly not that bad actually, you still have day rooms/roommates and we still have the option to sleep in our day room because we have a double bunk futon. It's just something you have to be open to and not make that the hard limit for not wanting to be in that sorority lol! There's a lot of stuff you can consider for not wanting to be in a house, but truthfully cold dorms aren't as bad as they sound, the people that don't have cold dorms are the majority of the ones that talk negatively about cold dorms! The majority of the ones that actually have them, can definitely agree that they're a great system in which you don't have to worry about waking up your roomie or vice versa!

Entire house sleeps in one room with rows of beds in a room kept cold and dark with 24 hour quiet normally located in the attic of the house. Like an army barrick lol. Then you have a separate room with a closet and dresser shared with other girls in the house. So you sleep one place and get ready in another. Some like it some don't. Normally older houses have this because of space. Other houses are like dorm rooms with a room mate and bed all in one room.

Totally agree!!!! Big thing to consider during rush. Don't let houses talk you into them because having your own room with a room mate would be the best. I hate it!!! If they could change it they would. It's normally really old houses that have them. Doesn't mean girls are bad but sleeping will be a challenge!
