recruitment
by: PNMWhat sororities accept girls who may be overweight? Since I've arrived at IU I've lost a lot of weight, but I know I will still be overweight come recruitment. I'm outgoing and working on my appearance. Any advice for rush?

Overweight isn't the end of the world if you're put together. Make sure your clothes fit you well and accessorize them well. If you look put together and put out confidence that will long a long way. Get a good hair style before recruitment, nails done, etc. Look polished.

i bet you're not super overweight or anything! i know as girls we often have a really bad sense of evaluating our own sizes, so don't worry about your size going through rush. i've seen smaller and bigger girls in almost every single house. as long as we like you and think you'd fit well into our house, we want you. and if someone is judging you based on something you're worried or insecure about, i'd say to think twice about wanting to be in that house. good luck!

forgt to point out that 90% of those "bigger girls" are also rich legacies from Indy/Chicago. If you're overweight and trying to get a bid, Phi Mu and AOPi are where you want to look as far as housed chapters go.
