do not expect to be let in through COB unless it is to TPA or DPhiE and maybe maybe Sig Delt. All other sororities do private COB and it is rare to get in. You have to know multiple people within the sorority (usually established people on top of people in their new mc). You can rush as a sophomore but it will be harder. Try to stick it through sisterhood, you may be shocked.

informal starts right after bid day usually and houses participating will start posting some events theyre holding. To find out who is doing informal, look at the panhellenic instagram theyll post soon about it. dphie, tpa, sometimes adpi, sdt, have done it most often. A chapter does informal bc of numbers, so really any chapter can do informal if they didnt get as big of a pc as they wanted. To get started: sometime within this week it should get posted who is doing informal, there will be forms to fill out usually linked in the chapters insta profile FILL THAT OUT it will set you up on a date with a girl in the chapter, chapters will post on their story events theyre holding GO TO THESE to meet more girls (:

the only chapters that post that they’re doing cob is tpa and dphie, a lot of chapters do it if they’re under the max number they can take, so only typically take <10 girls during spring cob, and you’re unlikely to get a cob bid unless u have a personal connection in the chapter, or made it to pref and didn’t get a bid, or MAYBE made it to sisterhood with really high notes from the girls u talked to. a lot of chapters will do snap bids like this and dm u offering to have you come for cob if they really liked u and u ended up dropping and they decide they can take a few more girls
