IU Sorority Reputations (2025-26)

Alpha Phi - top house & knows it, more diverse recent PCs, randomly some really smart Kelley girls, Instagram baddies

Pi Phi - picture perfect, Cali / NYC / somewhere else out of state, also top house and knows it, very put together & cute

Kappa - fair amount of in state girls, top house with rich country club vibes, smart girls who are also the same insta pretty but in a more lowkey vibe. More focused on school than other top houses.

Delta Zeta - girls are very Miami 10s / LA 10s, super gorgeous with perfect style and instas, all love to go out, less focused on school with some exceptions.

Chi Omega & Zeta - Both have the same kind of girls, lots of Indiana blondes who love to go out, are bubbly and social, and Zetas being super passionate about their philo. Fun houses yet have both faced criticism for having a mean girl problem / cliques.

Gamma Phi Beta - super cool girls, more out of state typically, less uniform instas / fashion and they always are super creative with their style. Nice girls, lots of stoners, less academic but all around solid house.

Alpha Chi Omega - Heavily in state mix, well rounded group of girls with a strong bike team and academics, cute girls with strong social pairings and philo. AXOs are genuine girls with very few exceptions and it's a great house to join if you have the chance!

AXID - 50/50 in and out of state mix, many scandals with the last 2 PCs, lack of sisterhood, girls love to party, academics is less of a priority here. Honestly, avoid AXID if you are looking for a genuine sisterhood and more than just parties.

Kappa Delta - classy KD, lowkey reputation, pairs well and stays out of drama, cute group of girls. House is stunning with a prime location on Greek row

Theta - mostly in state, top academic house and best biking program, tons of history at IU, not huge partiers, historically pairs well but recently not so much due to the BS incident... but all in all great house if you get a chance to rush.

DG - similar to Theta, middle tier in terms of frat pairs, strives for success in regards to academics and biking, genuine sisterhood, tons of history with a beautiful house. Right by new Read hall Starbucks if that's your thing!

AGD - similar to AXID yet pairs with middle tier frats, lack of genuine sisterhood and a serious mean girl problem, financial issues due to tons of girls dropping every year and taking COB classes in the fall, but they did just get a cool new makeup room! Avoid...

AOPI - Genuine, nice group of girls. Super inclusive and friendly, down to earth and welcoming! Solid mix of in and out of state. Farrrr walk on the extension

Aephi - mostly NJ/NY, mean girl problems on exec, really cute merch, cliquey and hard to break in if you don't know people already or don't have connections

Phi Mu - perfect if you love IUDM, mix of in and out of state, sweet happy girls who are angels. Another far walk but cute house

ADPI - another top academic house that rivals Theta every year for top GPA. Huge house (biggest?) and huge PCs. Tons of Kelley girls if that's your thing! Genuine sweet girls
