Bring back computer generated pairs
by: Doit
Way back in the dark ages IU made all Greek life pick houses they wanted to pair with. Then a computer spit out what house you got. Most houses were pissed- they ended up pairing with houses they never would have partied with before- AND met a lot of new people. You all are so obsessed with who you associate with maybe try out the randomness again. You
Might be surprised with the results.
#1by: How it worked
Yeah it basically worked like women’s recruitment: Sororities would rank all the fraternities and vice versa. Then a computer would tabulate. You still got to pick your pair though by asking them to put you first.
The “random” matches happened when a house lied about preffing you and secretly chose someone else.

Well we have a limit to how many times we can pair with the same house now. TEP keeps paying the fine to pair with SDT.
Honestly I don’t see any benefit to computer pairing. I guess it would mean Kappa would pair with Phi Psi or Sig Ep occasionally but do we really need Pi Phi pairing with Lambda? Would Pi Lam know what to do if they were paired with DZ for little 5?
