Lower tier probs
by: WorriedI ended up in a lower tier sorority. I like my sisters but I'm already noticing the difference in what my friends in top tier houses are doing and what on my mc social calendar, which isn't a lot. If my house isn't invited to good parties, can I get in with my friends in top houses or am I screwed?

Your schedule will fill up soon. The first few weeks all the bouses and mid frats are desperately trying to impress the top srats because they're trying to move up. Happens every year. Things will settle down and they'll start to invite the houses they actually pair with all semester within their tier. Don't worry you'll have parties to go to. And yes, you're friends can get you in places, too. It's easy to be a girl at IU.

“Tiers” are the most Fu’d thing in the Greek system. Can’t believe they are actually called this.

I think this is a pretty common concern for freshmen who are new to Greek life and there's no need to be rude.
