Fall Non-Traditional Rush Question
by: DDIs IU friendly to nontraditional students? During the pandemic, I had a death in the family and left college for two years to focus on my wellbeing and support my family. I'm 22 now and want to be involved in Greek life. Any helpful advice would be appreciated

you're prob gonna get advice that you're too old but if you wanna figure it out for yourself, rush and be honest if your age is brought up. if you don't get bidded, not the end of the world. move on and you'll find your group eventually. sorry about your loss though. hope ur doing better man.

I honestly can't see a world where any fraternity bids a 22 year old. If ur 22, theres simply no reason to join a frat. Idk anything about business frats though.
If all u want is fun, the good news is you can go to bars, and if u just want friends then u can make a ton of them outside greek life.
It'll just be a lot harder for u being older so id say its not even worth considering. Its just really awkward, especially with every guy in ur pc who u would normally be friends with being 4 years younger (and the girls they are partying with too).
