Informal, has anyone had it work out for them?

I know it’s near impossible to get a bid during informal. Just wondering if anyone has a good experience doing it and kind of explaining the process more

I’m doing it rn but know a few people who have and it worked out for them. Process is a lot more informal and you have to display more interest as it is more competitive. Honestly fall seems a lot easier and seems like a decent amount of sororities do it then too.
