TEP NEEDS SERIOUS HELP

My Grandmother is 80 years old and she remembers everything from the day she was born. She's a strong woman but recently her health has declined to the point where we're literally saying our goodbyes. Today I was called from work to rush to the hospital to be by her side. She has meant the world to me since the day I was born and it's so darn painful to see her suffer. What's worse is that I have to watch my family hold her and say goodbye, and no matter how much you tell her you love her and you hear it back and how much you can try to comfort her, in the end the pain is just too much.

Has anybody had to deal with a similar situation? How are you able to cope with seeing somebody you love be taken away right in front of you slowly?
