Why don’t more athletes join Greek life
by: BbAre athletes here discouraged from joining Greek life? I know the kicker is in beta and his back up is in sig ep but that’s about it. Why is that all there is? Schools like fsu pike have a dozen athletes in there

Most athletes at least the good ones care more about making it to the league than being in a frat. I can understand why too tbh. You gotta think while we pair with sororities if they’re in the NFL or NBA they’ll be going to parties with celebrities and supermodels.

It depends on how involved in the sport they are. If they play third string at a D3 school then they probably have time for the frat life, but if they’re on the starting line for a big D1 team they’re probably not going to have time. Their sport is way more important to them than joining a frat.

I’m saying sports a time consuming. Would you like to go to practice on a Friday at 6 am hungover? Pretty sure you don’t and neither do they. Not to mention if they’re on scholarships.

ngl this is true lol. they do party, but just with each other most of the time and some others they trust cuz they have strict rules and have a lot to lose if caught. overall, athletes r superior to basic frat boys and don’t need to join Greek life.
