Stop complaining
by: ???You’re all complaining on social media about being potentially “forced out” of your Greek houses. You knew a pandemic was going on and used the clearly wonderful common sense you have and still moved back into houses of 100+ people expecting nothing to go wrong? No sympathy

Not all of us had a choice dude! We signed housing contracts before we knew the pandemic was going to happen. It was either move into the house or pay our lease in full to get out of it and not everyone’s parents pay for their education and housing. I work on top of school and Greek life and there is no way I could afford to pay my full lease up front and still afford other housing after that. I understand that you probably think everyone in Greek life is rich or that their parents pay for everything but maybe you should reconsider that stereotype before you blame us for moving into unsafe housing when our Nationals are the ones pretty much forcing us to do so!

Just wondering why OP is so invested in shaming Greek kids. For one, IU brought everyone back for financial reasons and to keep the university afloat under very deceptive rules that kept changing to get as many as possible here and after payment received, changed the rules. Also, I personally know a lot of cases with mild or no symptoms but have seen kids go home in the last few years with mono or pneumonia and didn’t even try to alert anyone and turned a blind eye. This is for show and everyone knows it

It isn’t about when you signed your contract and the fact you felt obligated to live in the house, it is HOW you have conducted yourself while in the house. The Snapchat stories of partying close together, drinking from the same cups during pong and everything else that common sense would veer you away from during a pandemic. Was that part of your obligatory housing contract? Grow up and take responsibility for your actions!

Did OP rally just pay to delete their own comments? That’s embarrassing.
