I’m in a bottom tier sorority and trust me I understand why people want to do random pairs but the idea of pairing with sig chi or ZBT doesn’t sound fun to me. So it’s not us bottom tier houses wanting random pairs. We like the houses we pair with we like their vibes. We don’t want brads and chads. Aphi can have those

Random pairs have been discussed all 4 years that I've been here and it's never been the "bottom" chapters starting it. It's been a bunch of different people who've started the conversation. It's also always been about breaking down stereotypes, stigma and unnessecary divides that exist in IFC and PHA. Has nothing to do with"not getting pairs".

There is no shortage of frats to pair with so wanting to go party isn’t why it’s being brought up. It’s about getting out of our comfort zones and getting to know other chapters here at IU instead of the 2 or 3 houses were basically married to

It would help diffuse the negativity that this website generates. It's not so bad in day to day interactions but it plays a big part in recruitment. When you have 500+ girls drop out because they don't get into a house considered "top" (which is really only about pairs) there is some issue. It is a solution to make the entire Greek community stronger.
