Trying’s comment wasn’t unsupportive - just realistic. Rushees might see the girls in a different light if they go to an open rush event, but if it’s something like no house being a definite dealbreaker, they shouldn’t go and make ASA have to basically rip out their innards trying to win them over. They don’t need that.

Seriously, if you and ten friends are crying in the dorm about not getting a bid, you could be the start of something good. It just takes a few leaders to get ASA kick started in the right direction. Ten cool girls in this PC could lead to 20 cool girls in the fall PC. You'd be on the map!

i totally agree with this. ASA is not for everyone! They are different than other chapters because they don't have a house and that is important to some women which is understandable. But, if you have any interest at all in being in ASA but are on the edge, just sign up for their informal through their Instagram. Maybe you'll click with the girls or maybe you'll hate it. ASA wants amazing women who are passionate about their chapter and want to see it improve.
