If you drop before you get initiated you have to wait a year before going through formal recruitment. But if you like drop rn you can rush informal in the fall. But if your hoping to get into a high ranking house chances are the that’s not gonna happen just so you know

If you signed a bid during formal rush (that is, filled out your bid card after pref) you CAN NOT rush again until the next formal rush which would be 2021. The only way she could go to another group now is if she’d dropped out before rush was over, and since she went to bid day that is obviously not the case.

OP, you’re bound for a year. Try a little harder to make it work. If you still hate it a month or so from now drop out and don’t initiate.

How do you know it’s not for you already? Since you can’t join a new house for a year anyway, why don’t you give it a little longer?

I mean in the end if the chapter your in isn’t making you happy you can drop. But it’s totally up to you

i can see how that's a bummer but i'd still give it a little longer to see if your pc bonds a bit more. if not, drop before initiation so that you can join a different house in a year.

Things change so much during the first three weeks, wait it out and make an effort to get to know the girls in your pc. Even if it’s not an organized event you can still go get dinner with girls in your pc

It’s not about the tiers, it sounds like you don’t feel a fit w/ girls but any chance you can find some fellow pledges you like in the house? I wouldn’t stay if miserable but give it another try at least.

Have you reached out to your new member educator to express your concern? Do you know anyone in your new member class you could text?
I have a feeling chapters that do not have a well structured first week for new members are often over correcting to address feedback that previous new members classes have given saying it was too much or overwhelming. Getting the balance right of welcoming new members but not taking over their life can be tricky.

If you haven't connected with anyone in your pc, you should reach out to some and suggest grabbing dinner or something. Sometimes new members feel a let down after recruitment. They see pictures of other girls seemingly having fun. In truth, relationships take time to build. You aren't going to show up the first night and really be bffs with your pc. Those close relationships take time together to develop. Give it a bit more time and start being the catalyst for getting people together. You will get out of it what you put in.
