invite only informal spring 2020

My rhogam just sent me the list of chapters doing informal this spring. For the invite only chapters do we email them and tell them we are interested? Or let them reach out to us?
My rhogam told me to email but my friends rhogam said they would reach out to us. I’m from out of state so I’m already at a disadvantage with knowing people who would help me get invited to informal at their chapter

Email them to show you’re interested! They already get recommendations from rho gams and active sisters but if you’re not on that list already they won’t know you exist so definitely reach out

Take charge. Reach out and let them know you are interested. That's why they provide the email address.
