raids are coming

by: truth

My friend works for IUPD as apart of their cadet program and he told me that IUPD is planning on raiding houses this weekend for serving alcohol to minors that didn’t sign the Greek agreement. Anyone that plans of going to AEPI and THETA CHI be smart you can get individually cited by the police!

Theta Chi and AEPi, a bit of advice.

1. Make sure you hire an off duty cop for security
2. Run airtight Risk Management, no one walks home intoxicated, no lines outside house, no noise extending past the edge of your property, etc. Give zero probable cause for harassment
3. Ask your board for the contact info of your attorney so if something happens, you have a legal authority that you can call in case of emergency. Talk to the attorney in advance and let him know that you may need his help late nite.
4. You have the right to record any and all interaction with IUPD or IU officials. Use it to keep people honest and above board.
5. Be polite but firm in standing up for yourselves.

IU has a history of using threats and bullying to intimidate fraternity leaders...this is nothing new. Since you guys stood up for yourselves and didn’t sign over your constitutional rights this year, the authoritarians in the administration will try to make an example of you so others don’t follow....don’t let them
