iu informal rush

hi i am a pnm who was sadly dropped from rush last round. theta has been by far my favorite even now after pref. i am considering dropping from formal and participating in informal rush. does theta have a history of COB or should i just rush again as a sophomore? or should i suicide to adpi and see what happens. PLEASE HELP

Only dropped be Theta, okay that makes your statement make sense. No, don’t expect informal from Theta. With CO out of the picture houses like them will easily make quota. Wouldn’t surprise me if they up quota a few to compensate. Informal will most likely be the usual houses.

Rare that Theta takes sophomores. ADPi is highly underrated. They are beautiful, smart girls with one of the best sisterhoods on campus. They also have a beautiful house. I hope you didn’t drop them.

I doubt any adpis would want a girl who asks an online forum what to do about a major life choice. Those girls are smart and genuine... it doesn’t seem like you’re the same. For that matter theta wouldn’t want you either. Figure out who you are and be confident in yourself before going through a process like this.

This is kind of a harsh way to put it but it’s very true. Think about who you are not who you think you should be. Why do you not want adpi?? Because they aren’t a high tier? You won’t look back in your college experience and be upset because you weren’t in a top tier sorority. You’ll look back and be upset by the opportunities you do not take. This is an opportunity and it’s up to you to take it or regret it

Theta had a high return rate and had to drop some amazing women that they loved. Lots of broken hearts in the house but just too many PNMs and had to make deep cuts. They choose to make cuts at this round so the PNMs could move on with other houses. Take the houses you still have available to you and be happy.

This is correct! Do not cut yourself out of the opportunity to be Greek. List both houses and be happy with whatever bid you get. A year from now you will be so surprised that you even considered another house. You will love the one you are in.
