zeta here to stay, not risky
by: PNM perspectiveZeta at IU is the largest greek philanthropy in the country. It is very unlikely their nationals would ever kick them off because not only do they raise the most money out of all of the Zeta chapters, but they raise the most money out of any sorority/fraternity philanthropy. That's why I'm still going to go Zeta even though people say it's risky because it's really not. They mean to much to their nationals, and they were very cooperative with their nationals this past semester.

Glad you're willing to give them a try. Honestly, if they weren't kicked after what went down they're probably good for now, unless they get in trouble again. A word of caution - no chapter is safe from being yanked by their nationals or IU if they screw up bad enough. Many would've said SNu would never get yanked bc Herman B. Wells was a SNu at IU, so they were untouchable. Guess who's gone? Doesnt matter how much money your chapter makes for philanthropy, if rules get broken consequences will happen. As a new member you have a chance to get involved in your chapter and work to make sure good choices are made. Greek life has to change to survive. The rules aren't fun, but if you want your chapter to still be around in 10 years, you need to follow them.

Yes you ladies do wonderful work for your philanthropy. But no sorority’s nationals will hesitate to remove a chapter if they mess up enough times regardless of philanthropic success, simply because it’s bad publicity for the organization as a whole. If they’re not in trouble now, given their history it probably won’t be long before they are again. Keep this in mind if you choose to pref zta
