All you are doing is risking going without a bid at all. The sororities do the choosing and do not know how you rank them, so if you are thinking to prove how much you love a certain house by suiciding them or trying to game the system, remember that the odds are not in your favor. So many girls get dropped entirely and would kill for that bid, so don't be stupid. Go where you are wanted and have an open heart.

...But if you want to suicide rush because you only see yourself at one chapter, you honestly should. If you a receive a bid at all, but don't end up staying (even if you drop on bid night) you CANNOT go through informal at some of the decent chapters that do informal. If you are interested in informal, do not just "go where you are wanted and have an open heart." If it's not you, it's not you. Whoever wrote this is probably bitter about return rates anyway.

@uhh is giving bad advice. Your chances are not that great during informal. There are far, far less openings during informal than there are right now. And if a house dropped you the first time around they are not very likely to turn around and give you a bid at informal. You will most likely only get interest from the same houses that you have right now. Informal is not a do-over for you at houses that gave you a pass the first time.
