how many is normal to get back for 9 party?
by: 9 party#1by: Uh
Last year I had 4, my one friend got 3 and others in my group were 4-6 back. I know of two girls who went from 16 down to 2. I would say 4-6 is going to be the normal for most girls, a few might have full lists and a some will have 3 or less.
Focus on what you get back, not what you didn't. It will hurt but don't make any snap decisions and go to your parties. You don't want to be one of those girls that days later regret a snap decision.

PNMs you’ll be getting your lists back in about an hour. If you drop bc you’re so upset there’s no way to take it back. No matter how upset you are show up to your rounds so you don’t make an emotional decision you regret in a week when all your friends are in houses doing what you wanted to do

I went from 16 (with 16 invites) to 9 round with just 6 invites. I was like WHAT??? Are you kidding me?? Ten houses cut me?? Shock! Sobbing!...Then I found out that some of my friends only had 3 or 4 invites. Please understand this is not personal. Cuts are fierce!!!! Please don't be discouraged. I ended up in a house that I love! You will too if you are positive about the experience.

“I know lots of girls who went from 16 to 2” yes and same. If you thought philanthropy round cuts were harsh you will be shocked later this afternoon by what happens to you and your friends. If you have even ONE house left please try to set your ego aside instead of dropping. I know it’s confusing and it seems unfair when you know people still going back to the houses you want to go back to but it’s not about what did she have that you didn’t it’s about finding a sisterhood where you will be valued. Forget about tier for two weeks and decide before intiation if the house is for you or not. Don’t be the girl who sees she has all bottom tier houses and drops only to sit alone all semester because all your friends joined houses. This WILL happen to a lot of people but if you’re reading this you have the advantage of knowing early on and learning from other people’s mistakes.
