by: ?I’ve seen multiple comments about houses caring about whether or not pnms are wealthy. Is this accurate? Also how would a house even know if a pnm is wealthy or not?

Besides the obvious of looking for brand names on your clothes, the houses that focus on your parent's wealth will actually search your address on social media to see what your house is worth. OOS students typically have more money because they are paying OOS tuition. They know what HSs typically are made up of wealthy families. They will search your social media accounts seeing if you have pix of exotic vacations, etc. Not all houses do this. But, the ones with a reputation for superficial membership selection criteria are all over it.

That’ would be primarily Pi Phi (some old money/girls whose families have always been well off) and Alpha Phi (new money, girls who constantly run their charge card/advertise their “wealth” on social media.)
