should i rush adpi?

The top academic sororities are all separated by fractions of a point. Besides, you as a PNM don't really get to choose, going in with targeting only 1 sorority is a recipe for disaster for IU rush.
Most of the IU sororities are strong academically so go in with an open mind, see who invites you back. After the first round most girls won't have full lists so you don't have to worry about who to drop. The hard choices for PNM's is when they get down to Pref round and have to decide.

It does not matter if "everyone likes them". When you go through recruitment, what matters is if you click with the members. If you met a guy and you really connected, and he made you super happy, would you care if your friends thought he was too quiet or short or nerdy?? I hope not. You need to make these decisions by following your heart. Don't let others opinions of something they have no intimate knowledge of sway your decision.

First of all, as far as the rush process goes 95% of PNMs are just along for the ride and get to cut no houses or very very few houses so worrying about should I join one specific sorority no matter what the reason (even if it’s something non superficial like grades) is a good way to end up disappointed. Second, every single house is liked enough by enough people that it doesn’t affect their sorority meaning there is no sorority that is so disliked that you should even worry about that. However if you’re asking which houses are academic and involvement based then ADPi is definitely one of them but like the person above said there is very little difference between the top gpas and you should look at number of members if you’re considering gpa too. Other academic and involvement based houses are AOPi, Theta, and Phi Mu so if that’s what you’re most interested in then those four houses could be a really good fit for you but try to keep an open mind especially during the first rounds because you never know what houses you’ll actually get invited back to.

It doesn't matter what anyone else thinks, it matters if you like the girls. Again for the people in the back--it only matters what you think.
